SUMMARY:Hooncorp Hump-Day Trackday
DESCRIPTION:The cost is $295 per driver\, which includes all fees and the track’s Safety levy.\nThis does NOT include garage spaces\, and a price of those will be available soon.\nAll entrants who do not use a garage\, will have parking provided.\nThis event is going to be run cautiously. As such\, there are more criteria than previously.\nWe can NOT accept dirt track cars\, speedway or any other type of vehicle\, other than road or race type cars.\nNo passengers in either road or race cars – period!\n(Rookie drivers or rookies to Hampton can participate in a controlled pre-event “duckling tour”)\nDrivers need either a road license (at least a restricted) or a competition license\nDrivers must wear good condition race overalls\, helmet\, neck restraint\, shoes and gloves.\nCars must be in safe condition\, and front + rear lights must work.\nNo rubbish or loose objects in the car. Battery must be secure.\nCar fire extinguishers are not mandatory\, but are welcome.\nSump plugs may be wired secure\, absolutely no fluid leaks will be allowed.\nWe can not run cars with slick tyres for obvious reasons.\nDriving standards must be very high\, the track manager’s decision re poor driving is final.\nWe will be running 4 x 15 minute sessions per hour.\nThe classes will be:\nSlow road car (slower than a 1.25)\nFast road car (roughly 1.18 – 1.25 )\nSlow race car (slower than a 1.25)\nFast race car (roughly 1.15 – 1.25)\nIf cars have no WOF or homologation\, they must be scrutineered before heading on track.\nWe are anticipating 15 – 20(max) cars per class\, and reserve the right to mix ‘ n ‘ match cars to make speeds as similar as possible.\nIf you are not sure which class your car should be in\, feel free to contact us.\nTo enter\, please contact us via Facebook or our text only line 0224872258 (don’t try to ring)\nIf we do not have sufficient entries by early October\, we will cancel\, and 100% refund any payments.\nWe will not refund no-shows\, and will work to help any participant to re-sell their spot if unable to attend.
