DESCRIPTION:This is a social weekend for custom car owners to come and enjoy a fun social weekend with others in this great location\, we will be keeping the numbers limited to make it more fun and social for those joining us.\nWe have got a number of social things happening along with a few cruises happening over the weekend.\nWhat’s Happening:\nFriday 10th Oct\nArrive and get set up\n6.30pm – 7pm Thunder Hop registration\nCome and check in with Mark on site 66 just across from the kitchen\, just look for the Thunder Hop marquee CAR REGISTRATION:\nThunder Hop Registration for those who have a custom car only.\nRegistration is only $60.00 per vehicle for the social weekend.( allows up to two people )\nYou do not have to be staying at the camp to join us\, but you do have to register your car.\nThis is nonrefundable or transferable if you cancel or don’t turn up.\nTo register your custom car you must email a photo of your vehicle to mark@nzmtg.co.nz then he will send you the details for you to confirm your spot for the Thunder Hop at Bowentown Beach..\n8pm -10pm Best car display contest\nAdd some lights to your custom car and dress your site up also\, judges will be visiting each site.\nFeel free to have a walk around the camp and pop into the different sites and have a social catch up and meet others with a custom car and to view what they have done to make them look WOW.\nIt gets darker around 9ish for the lights to stand out.\nSaturday 11th Oct\n8.50am meet outside of the campground main gates\n9.00am Coffee cruise will depart\n12.50pm After lunch meet outside the camp\n1pm We will be departing for a cruise and a refreshment or two.\nMystery judges will be checking out the custom cars.\nMark will inform you of the locations on Friday night.\n5pm social catch up\n5.30pm Vans will start picking us up from the camp\n7pm dinner and prize giving.\nAfter dinner social drinks will be happening back in the bar with the duke box going.\nSunday 12th Oct\n8.20am Meet outside the camp entrance\n8.30am Depart to Waihi Beach RSA to have breakfast at the club with lots of other hot Roders\nThose staying on can join us down at the fishing club for live entertainment\n4pm vans will pick us up from the camp and return us later.

DESCRIPTION:Battery Town Rally Bay of Plenty returns in 2025 with a thrilling new route. This year’s challenge features four fresh stages in an area not rallied for over 20 years\, plus some of the old favourites.  Some of you will know where this might be\, but mum’s the word until the final plotting has been done.  There will also be some old favourites but this year only one service park\, although we will be back at Trevalayn’s for a last dash of fuel before the final three stages on the way back to Classic Flyers for the Finish and Prizegiving.

Over the last 6 years we are so proud to have donated over $56\,000 to Otago Community Hospice.\nAll vehicles (old & new) welcome. This is always a fantastic day raising money for such a well deserving organisation.\nWe begin at the Mornington Taphouse carpark for 10am departure where the surprise route will be announced on the day.\nWe aim to return to the function room of the Mornington Taphouse approx 4pm where we will do a silent auction\, host the prizegiving\, have some food & then enjoy the band ‘Top of the Hour’ upstairs.\nEntry is $65 per car of 4 which you will receive a t-shirt (limited numbers & sizes so first in first served). $10 each for additional passengers.\nJust like previous years we like to keep it fun and do a prizes for best dressed/ themed vehicle (optional)

Let’s have a great day out doing what we love to do!\nEvent Details:\nLocation: Spring Street Carpark Building\n(94 Durham Street Tauranga)\nWe will meet up at 11 AM\, and start the cruise at about 12pm. similar route to the last event\, we will go right when exiting onto Durham street\, follow it down to Harrington Street\, take another right\, at the roundabout ahead we will take a left\, where we will follow Dive Cresent until the right turn pocket under the bridge where we will merge onto StateHighway 2 and continue on to the Takitimu Eastern Link\, stopping off at the Bruce Road BP again\, parking up for 30-40 minutes or so to regroup. Once we leave the BP we will continue down the TEL until the roundabout where we will turn back around and follow the same route back to the Springstreet carpark building. (Estimated 1:30 Arrival) And we will disperse at 3:00PM\nThe event will only be cancelled in the case that the weather is horrible. I will make multiple posts informing everyone in the case of the event being cancelled or delayed.
